Biography.
Biography.
I've been performing professionaly since I finished my bachelor degree in modern and contemporary dance in KHIO, Oslo, in 2009.

My first job was with The Swedish Riksteatern and The Batsheva Dance Company, performing "Kamuyot" by Ohad Naharin in Sweden and Israel (tour 2009-2010, ca.120 shows).

In 2010-2014 I was an independent artist in Oslo, working with choreographers such as Hege Haagenrud, Ingun Bjørnsgaard, Linda Birkedal and Christopher Arouni. During this time, I did a lot of independent explorations in the studio. One of the results was the duet "Idunns Epler" which Marie Male Kalstø and I choreographed for Ravnedans festival.
From 2011 to 2014, I was a dancer in the Norwegian dance company "Ingun Bjørnsgaard Prosjekt". These works, and more, can be found in the poretfolio section.

Autumn 2014, I moved to Israel and became a fulltime dancer for "Inbal Pinto and Avshalom Pollak Dance Company" (later named "Avshalom Pollak Dance Theatre"). In addition to learning company repertoire and participating in new creation processes with Inbal Pinto and Avshalom Pollak, I also got to work with choreographer Andrea Martini.

Early 2023, I went back to beeing an independent dance artist. I've performed with the duo Rebecca Laufer and Mattheus Van Russum, and Hege Haagenrud, and participated in research of dance artist Joy Kammin and Linda Birkedal.

Together with performing, I'm developping as a dance teacher.
Starting off with repetoir workshops for both "Ingun Bjørnsgaard Prosjekt" and "Avshalom Pollak Dance Theatre", I've continued my practice by teaching warm up classes for company members in "Avshalom Pollak Dance Theatre". Latest teachings, have been for PRODA Stavanger (Professional traning for dancers in Stavanger).

In my classes, I search for ideas, images and movement patterns that are physical, but still simple enough to give space for personal research. Offering images, ideas, different qualities, and excersises that will challange strenght and stamina, I hope students can find the most important factor (in my eyes) in a dance class - to enjoy the music, strenghten their body the way they need. And finding their own way of moving.

I offer modern classes and ballet classes for contemporary dancers.
